I believe I have acquired the necessary analytical and numerical skills needed to succeed in investment banking sector. This can be supported by my results of last semester ranking first in Department of Economics in University of Bath and I got the average grade of 90% I attained in the Bsc(Hons) Accounting course in Peking University. Furthermore, I have developed adept business knowledge via a summer internship I completed at Qixing Steel Company Ltd. It was here that I developed a basic understanding of the drivers of a given business. Moreover, through my involvement with the Accounts team, I supported the preparation of income statements and other various accounting reports. Furthermore, through my high level of motivation and ability to work under pressure I have the required skills to succeed at Morgan Stanley.
I want to start my career after graduation in investment banking area where analytical and numerical skills are extensively applied. I studied as an accounting student in Peking University during last year. But when I studied an optional course named Supervision of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions in the second year, I got to know investment banking at the first time. I was attracted by this creative and exciting area which is full of tremendous growth opportunities. That is why I changed my subject from Accounting to Economics.
