Can Motel 6 use a hard working California State University accounting student with experience in customer service, environmental maintenance, and home renovation as a housekeeper? You will note that my experience and education listed in my résumé attached and in this summary qualify me for this position in your motel of which I personally attended to receive an employment application.

Currently I am working towards a major in accounting at California State University for a future career in auditing in the health and hospitality industries, which is the reason for my interest in Motel 6. Rigorous coursework in my education along with becoming a member of the Accounting Society has allowed me to develop a professional demeanor towards my career path. My experiences as a courtesy clerk, assistant handyman, and even a volunteer at a homeless shelter have prepared me well for the type of work needed in the housekeeping of your motel. All the tasks involved in each of these positions required the constant maintenance of various work environments such as busy cash registers, market aisles, construction sites, and kitchens, which I was able to carry out efficiently and productively and I can assure you that I will be able to do the same for the housekeeping of Motel 6.
