Dear BLOCKED,
My name is BLOCKED. I am very excited to apply for NBCUniversal’s Summer Internship - West Coast.
Having worked for an advertising firm for nearly two years, I have spent a considerable amount of time learning the ad business, and developing an understanding of how to market to demanding audiences. Because I worked as a copywriter, I was in the unique position of producing the company’s creative work in addition to knowing how business decisions were made.
NBCUniversal is a creative powerhouse, but it is obviously a business as well. I have no doubts that my experience in both the creative and business sides of advertising would make me an asset to the 2016 Internship, and that my love for film and television would make me an even better fit.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope very much to be a part of NBCUniversal this summer, and to have an opportunity to help the company accomplish its goals.
