My name is XXXXX and I am interested in applying for the Partnership Internship listed on the New Futuro website. I am an Economics major with a double minor in Spanish and Business & Management at XXX , and I am also a first-generation Latina college student who appreciates the vision and mission of New Futuro.

Based on my work experience to date, I believe that I could add value to your initiatives of working with high schools. I have worked throughout college to help defray the costs of my education, and as you will see from my resume, my jobs have been with XXXX financial aid and admission offices. I have a subject matter appreciation in these areas that would be useful for work I could do at New Futuro.

Specifically, in my current jobs, I visit local high schools on behalf of XXX to inform and recruit prospective students about applying to college. I assist with our campus visit program by giving tours, hosting prospective students for lunch, and answering questions from parents and/or prospective students. I also regularly utilize my proficiency in Spanish to connect students and their families to the college process and to understand the possibilities that can follow from having a college education, and I would look forward to using my language skills at New Futuro as well.

I am also passionate about working in business and understanding how new companies can start and contribute to the social goals of a society while creating value for all parties involved. I would be excited to be working in a company like New Futuro so that I can better understand the challenges and requirements of working within a fairly new and growing company.
