I was exposed first handedly to Nielsen’s big data systems while working in Northwestern University’s Research Computing department this summer. Being a communication studies and economics major with an integrated marketing minor, Nielsen has always been a subject of discussion and model for my studies. Nielsen’s power and influence continues to impress and awe me, from audience measurement to consumer purchase behavior analytics, its impact is immeasurable.
