I was very pleased to learn about the International Analyst intern position at Nielsen through the LinkedIn website, and I am writing to apply for it.

I hold a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Winterfel (5.1 out of 6 GPA). Throughout my academic studies in Economics, I have developed an extensive knowledge of statistics, economics and business management practices, as well as highly developed quantitative and modelling skills.

My professional experience includes a 4 months’ internship with Global Patient Access department at Novartis Pharma Division, where I developed real-world data analyses and populated and revised a cost-effectiveness model for a market approved drug. I have also written my master’s thesis on this subject and received praise from my faculty advisors. During the internship I was able to efficiently communicate my findings not only to the Global Patient Access team but also to other departments and higher management. My work with Novartis was highly appreciated by my supervisors as you can see by the recommendation letter that I attached to this application..

I believe that in addition to my company background and skill sets, I possess leadership skills from a variety of extracurricular activities as an undergraduate that I am sure will help me to excel in this internship.
