2016 Summer Internship: R&D Engineering
I am writing to apply for the 2016 Summer Internship: R&D Engineering- Lake Forest,
CA position, found on the graduateland website. I am a Sophomore pursuing a
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, and majoring in X Engineering at
X University in X. With my engineering coursework and
ongoing project experience, my innovative mindset and affinity for problem
solving, I believe I am a strong candidate for this role.
As a high school student and even more as an undergraduate, I have balanced a
rigorous course load and a number of extracurricular activities that have allowed
me to enhance my skills relevant to this role.
Specific to engineering, through my academic work I have developed abilities in
overall product designing and have practiced different experiences requiring
numerous engineering calculations and analysis . Thus, I developed a true passion
for engineering. Therefore, I got engaged in a team including some of the best
students in the Engineering universities and participated in
International UAV Competition. In which I got a considerable
experience in using PC-based software tools. I have also developed the strong
interpersonal and communication skills required to succeed as the R&D
Engineering Intern. Throughout all of my experiences, I have used my dedication
to efficient creative problem solving, and my self-motivation and ability to
multitask to prioritize and manage competing demands to positive ends. I
am very eager to apply my engineering knowledge and skills and even more to
maximize them at the Novartis Company.
