Dear Sir/Madame,

I am writing in response to the vacancy for the 2016 finance undergraduate summer internship. I have recently completed the first year of the “International Bachelor of Economics and Management” at Bocconi University and by the time the internship will start I will have gone through the second year.

With this letter I intend to express my motivation in applying to this opportunity since I’m keen to work for a company with a known name and with such a great influence in the cosmetics sector like L’Oreal.

I have already had a work experience abroad, and this gave me varied skills and the opportunity to get used to work with different types of people. These people were often older and with more expertise than me but this allowed me to learn from them and to grow, and I am sure that this experience at L’Oreal would have a significant impact on me and on the developing of my personality. For this very reason I feel that the combination of knowledge, enthusiasm and motivation I have could make me an asset to your finance department.

Moreover, a full semester abroad, and my extensive traveling experiences, have offered me opportunities to adapt to new environments. I have learned how important it is to be flexible and make use of my own resources.

I am available for interview at any time in the coming weeks, and am available for work from the beginning of June.
