Dear Hiring Manager, I am a 4th year student studying Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University writing to apply for the Career Kitchen programme. I want to pursue my career in FMCG sector and I think that this will be a good opportunity to develop my skills and gain multinational experience.

The factors which I think make me eligible for this position, are my education background which I have gained in Bogaziçi University, my social skills and my desire to do this job. I have no doubt that especially my problem solving and analytical thinking skills, my knowledge of English and my constructiveness and ability in human relations will help me in my career. You may wonder why to hire a mechanical engineer, how come he/she can contribute. Throughout my licence degree, I successfully dealed with numerous challanges in a variety of tasks such as writing a computer code, solving engineering problems, design and optimization tasks, preparing and performing presentations, writing essays, reading books, etc. which made me all-round and creative and gave me confidence in overcoming problems. Also, I have fulfilled my obligatory internships that my department imposed on me, so which will not cause an intervention during my career in your company.

During the programme, my purpose is to develop myself and learn more about how the company operates. In the long run, after successfully performing my tasks, I want to add value to your company while constantly improving my qualifications. I assure that I will not get out of responsibilities and difficulties in this period.
