team,
Placement Unit,
BITS Pilani.
Dear Recruitment Team,
I write this letter in response to your mail regarding the recruitments for the Core Committee of the Placement unit, to express my interest in the same for semester-II of the academic year 2015-2016.
The very aspect of being a BITSian gives us the privilege to spend four years of our life time to be among the brightest of our country and I must say that one can use the time for developing his/her inner self. May it be the innumerable activities available in the form of clubs, departments and regional associations and I being the one to take responsibilities have always upheld them successfully.
I have overseen 3 Oases in my rime and every year the workload went on increasing. Despite that I have never backed down and tackled the problem with sheer will and help of my team mates. Same can be said in my time at NSS, which helped to get mingled with people and developed my social responsibility. Currently, I am the publicity coordinator in B.Pharmacy Association in which i have been an active member since my first year. I also have cherished my moments as the organizer of events in Cultural Night of Andhra Samithi, one of the Largest Associations which says a lot about my crowd handling capacity.
But the pinnacle of my Academic/Extra-curricular career will be represented by being in the Placement Unit because I know that there is flair of professional workmanship in what you guys do. Managing the logistics, inviting the companies or conducting tests may seem ordinary but for a student to be able to communicate with companies and organize the entire placement procedure will definitely affect his/her exposure and develops ones comfort zone.
Being a Pharmacy Student, I can offer you my knowledge in the field which can
help in bringing more companies to the relevant profile, and I will exhaust all
my contacts for fetching more internships because we know as things stand,
placements aren’t that great in the above mentioned division.
Once recruited into the core committee I will put my best efforts to expose more people to PU’s work, mainly first yearites thus molding their careers from a early stage. And I promise I will strive to bring about a degree of professionalism in the way PU operates.
