Sample cover letter for Internship position at Peruvian

POSITION:

International Trade Intern

I am reaching out to you regarding the advertised position of International Trade Intern. My significant background in cold-calling both over the phone and in person, my pursuit of a Bachelors of Science in Business Real Estate Finance with a minor in International Relations, and my extroverted personality will allow me to fulfill the responsibilities of an intern and be a significantly beneficial asset to the Peruvian Embassy.

My skills and experience enable me to fulfill the Peruvian Embassy’s intern requirements. My position as a representative for the xxxxx Campaign for xxx and my position as an associate at xxxxx both involved cold-calling and establishing relationships with clients and constituents. Through these two positions I have cold-called several hundred homes and businesses in person, and called over one hundred more over the phone. My successes in these past positions evince my persuasiveness and my ability to create client relationships. Furthermore, at xxxxx I utilized online listings to gather data on real estate markets throughout the United States, and expressed this data through Excel to evaluate future real estate development opportunities. This experience will allow me to fulfill the Peruvian Embassy’s need of an intern capable of researching and identifying business opportunities.

For the listed reasons and more, I am more than capable to fulfill the requirements you seek in an intern. Thank you for considering me for this position, I would love to discuss these and other qualifications with you in person. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to contact me at xxxxxx or via email at xxxxx. Again, thank you for your time.
