I have just started a one-year master’s course in International Accounting and Finance at Cass Business School. I am writing to apply for Graduate Programme in External Audit Assurance, which I saw advertised on Career Website in PwC. Please find enclosed my CV as requested.

PwC is undoubtedly the biggest accounting firm around the globe and its assurance department is the core business among all department. As I am interested in working with people from all culture and background, PwC always attracts me by its full exposure to diverse people and jobs. It is the sheer novelty experienced from different client and colleagues who you will be working with that motivates me to move forward everyday as auditor. PwC also touches the core business across different countries by looking deep inside what is happening in the most prominent companies in various industries, which will definitely be the best chance in forming my personal knowledge and scope of certain industry to boost my long-term business acumen.

External auditing requires constant learning and creation in accounting treatment. With many emerging companies appear in market place, PwC offers well-rounded training parallel to the ever-changing accounting environment and even shapes the future of accounting methods fit for new business models.

As you can see from my CV, I took three internships during my undergraduate degree at Central University of Finance and Economics gaining valuable experience as an Audit intern with PwC and an intern in Marketing Department with BMW. At PwC, I participated in the annual audit of the five branches of the Petro China Kunlun GasCo., Ltd.. In this period, my academic knowledge got enhanced through reading a variety of listed companies’ annual financial statements and understanding the how numbers in different sheets linked with each other. Via communicating with customers and seniors, my ability of both team work and communication have improved a lot. Besides that, working in Marketing Department in BMW further developed my skills in analysing data, multitasking solving, communication and making presentations. My previous academic background and current MSc at Cass Business School gave me opportunity to develop my analytical and data processing skills.
