As an account associate of _______________, our university’s only student-run PR firm, I have gained valuable experience in analyzing and promoting social media conversations about our team’s client,___________. Through my coursework here at the____________, I have done several PR research projects including creating situation analysis reports and media monitoring for Hershey’s. I am also a proficient writer with experience in press release writing and blogging for a local ______ tech startup.

What I believe sets me apart, however, is my passion for the tech industry and my proactive learning style. I am currently the operations director of ______, the largest student-run eSports organization in the nation. Through my position with  ________, I have helped plan and facilitate two national-scale gaming tournaments with over 4 million total stream views. As a former non-gamer, I still actively browse relevant forums to learn more about our target audience’s needs and interests. Two years ago there was a large demand for live stream-viewing parties for a game called “League of Legends”. Recognizing this, I dedicated much of my free time to hosting these local viewing parties, attracting over 500 live attendees from the ________ gaming community. Though video games are but a small part of the tech industry, the knowledge I have gained through interacting with gamers and research has become helpful in understanding a very valuable target market for some of your clients, such as AMD and Plantronics.

I believe that my skillset and experiences can contribute a lot to PulsePoint Group, and I am enthusiastic at the idea of being able to learn more from a cutting-edge management and digital consulting firm.
