Sample cover letter for Internship position at PwC

POSITION:

Analyst

I am highly passionate about Consulting as it gives me a chance to combine my technical skills with my communication and people skills. This inspired me to pursue my Masters in Information Management with the Consulting Specialization. Prior to this I have completed the Bachelors of Engineering program in Information Technology, which provided me with a strong technical background.

I have held various leadership positions over the past few years where I got a chance to develop and strengthen my inter-personal and team skills. For instance my time as the Team Leader at AIESEC, which is the world’s largest student run organization, gave me the opportunity to lead a team of almost 30 members, interact extensively with clients and come up with innovative strategies to facilitate client satisfaction. One reason I particularly enjoyed working here was the opportunity to interact with people and help them with their problems.

I have also held the position of the Publicity and Marketing Head for the Sports Committee of my college, where a large part of my work required interacting with customers, attract them towards being a part of the festival, sending them follow up emails and maintaining a database of all the participants in Microsoft Excel.

I have drafted a number of reports for all my projects and internships, thus I have a good idea of documentation and have strong writing skills. Also having worked with various teams before I believe I will be able to efficiently work with diverse people, work with strict deadlines and ensure a healthy work environment. Thus I believe with the required experience and skill set, I will be a strong candidate for the position of the Hourly Student Office Assistant.
