Through these experiences working closely with clients on tax-related issues, I developed a high level of interpersonal skills and was able to address clients’ and taxpayers’ concerns clearly and thoroughly. Working at these firms have also increased my knowledge of the tax industry and reaffirmed my decision to pursue a career in the accounting industry in the long run. I also had the opportunities to lead fellow interns during both of my internships, allowing me to hone both my leadership and teamwork abilities so as to ensure that we have completed our projects with the best quality within the given time. I am also currently volunteering for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), a non-profit organization that provides free tax services to lower income families, as I believe strongly in giving back to the community with the skills that I have acquired.

Given my strong interest in PwC as well as communication and leadership skills, I believe I am a good fit for the SoCal Explore Program at your firm.
