I am contacting you to apply for a summer internship in 2015. I am specifically applying for the marketing internship in Detroit, Michigan. I am very flexible and would gladly take on any role as an intern in the company if a marketing role is not available. I was informed about this internship by my sister, who held an internship job for Quicken Loans in the summer of 2012. Also, I have discussed the internship opportunity with Quicken Loans recruiters at __________ career fairs.

I am interested in this position because I realize that Quicken Loans will help me gain a business experience that is difficult to find anywhere else. The company has always intrigued me because it is Detroit based and is known for it’s high quality customer service. Also, Quicken Loans puts a high emphasize on their marketing strategy, which would really help me grow as a marketer. Besides growing as a businessman, I will also bring my unique qualities to the company to help it prosper. I have taken on many leadership roles in both my social fraternity including recruitment chair, philanthropy chair, housing corporation representative, and held positions on both the marketing committee and recruitment committee for my business fraternity. For every position, I had to showcase my strategic and creative abilities in order to be successful both individually and collaborating with others. I always strive to make any project the most efficient possible; I have an eye for detail because I realize the smallest things make up the big picture at the end of any process.
