My name is ... and I am currently studying ... at the .... I was introduced to your firm through different employees from RBS at ... Careers Fair in October and I was impressed with what I heard about the culture and the work environment of the company. I was also excited to hear that the employees get interesting tasks to work on as I would cherish the opportunity to work on tasks that will keep me constantly engaged.I was also delighted to hear that RBS is an organization where diversity is embraced, and where people are promoted on their merits.

I have previously worked at various construction and retail companys such as Uluyil Construction, Ilci Construction and Holland Bazaar. I am currently working as a volunteer at Centre for Turkish Studies and managing the technological infrastructure of the organization. Through the experiences gained from working on various tasks either alone or in a team, I have gained leadership and teamwork skills as well as improving my general understanding of financially successful organizations in various fields. I also had the opportunity to create my own customer service team at Holland Bazaar, where I led three other employees who had no previous experience in customer service field. Through my innovative ideas and leadership skills, the company made significant profit at the end of my time there. I also had many opportunities to present many presentations to senior employees in my work experiences about various issues such as progress reports of projects and customer service ideas.

Given my background in various fields as well as my leadership and inter-personal skills, I believe that I would be a very good fit for the RBS Spring Insight Programme at your firm. I am impressed by the global presence of RBS as I have travelled all around the world and I know that I will be travelling a lot in my lifetime. This bank offers me a global perspective and a home wherever I go. The opportunity to learn about global markets and contribute to the transactions at a bank which has an established presence in the European Markets is something I look forward to.
