I am writing in reference to the Analyst-Associate position posted through  University's Career Center. I am currently a Senior at  University studying Finance and Politics and will be graduating. Following the completion of my degree, my intention is to pursue a career in Real Estate and was very excited to see an opening at . Following my first Internship in real estate, I have focused my studies and work experience to best prepare for successful entry into the industry. Due to the skills, experience, and commitment I possess, I feel that I would be an exceptional fit for the opening at .

The two most recent internships I have completed have been in real estate. During my first internship at  Partners , my responsibilities initially included researching sales and lease comparables while assisting the Leasing and Acquisitions Associate. They were later expanded to assisting in the due diligence process and building financial models. I was fortunate to be at  during a period where a variety of projects were underway; varying in size, property type, and timetable. Allowing me to participate in and witness varied projects throughout their life cycles. Allowing me to learn a great deal about the firms process and strategy during various periods of their investment cycle. I worked directly with a senior associate and the firm's managing partner, who helped refine my analytical skills. My second internship with Advisors allowed me to focus my research skills in target markets to develop comparable rent survey's and market analysis reports. As was a startup at the time, my ability to both effectively collaborate and work independently on time sensitive projects was crucial.

Additionally, my coursework has put me in a position where I believe I could be a valuable asset, and positive addition to the t Advisors team. At , I have excelled Academically with an overall GPA of 3.8. This past semester I received an A in the Real Estate Finance course. In which I earned A's in all 17 Real Estate Modeling assignments as well as in two Harvard Business School Cases (Angus Cartwright III and Revere Street). Of which many of the modeling assignments and the subject matter of the course dealt with loan analysis and the main methods of property valuation applied to various conditions. Additionally, I received an A+ in my Financial Modeling class. This class included the use of stochastic modeling techniques to calculate risk and probabilities using tools such as the excel add on @Risk to produce Monte Carlo simulations. I was able to apply these skills outside of class to produce a property expense model for use by an existing Real Estate owner-operator in  to project costs for its stabilized properties using risk modeling techniques such as historical price simulations. In addition, I was also one of the original, and most active members of  and was the main contact in organizing the  enrollment in the Argus Endowment Program (still pending), and the Argus Certification program.
