Sample cover letter for Internship position at Renault

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to in order to apply for the Renault Internship Program.

I am currently working on my master’s degree in MIB at the National Research University, Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia. Ever since I got my driver’s license, my car has not left my sight.

I am originally from Israel. Unfortunately, after years of living in a very conflicted zone, surrounded by war, I decided that I had had enough and moved abroad to persue my career goals. My move to Moscow has been great me since it allows me to reconnect with my Russian roots; both my parents were born in Russia, and we have always spoken Russian in my home. While I have been able continue my studies, I am still looking for an opportunity to gain more experience in the industry.

Renault has always been a company that I have respected a lot. So many people in my life have driven Renault cars. For example, Renault manufactured my father’s last two cars and to this day, he insists that if you drive a Renault, you have a high-quality car. Even my last boss drove a Renault, and he loved it. I want to work for a company that has products that I can relate to and support. The quality of a Renault is questionable, and I would like to work with you.

I really think that I have a lot to contribute to a company like Renault. With age comes experience; I have learned a lot about a large variety of issues throughout my life. Everything that I know can be very useful for a company that works in the car industry, an industry that I really see myself working in and enjoying. As the saying goes, enjoy your work and you will not work a day in your life.
