Dear hiring manager,

It is with great interest that I submit my resume as an application for the server position. I have experience working as a host, restaurant server and catering server I am currently a cocktail server at the upscale restaurant Pampas.  I am a leader in many areas in my community and am very motivated go above and beyond what is asked of me.

The experience I’ve gained from working in downtown Palo Alto has been invaluable and I’ve learned how to properly conduct myself around high-profile guests and businessmen. As a server in the lounge, I am familiar with many different spirits and cocktails and am comfortable up-selling alcohol. I am familiar with Micros and Aloha POS systems, OpenTable and handling cash and credit card transactions.

What separates me from other contenders is my eagerness to learn and hard work ethic. I take constructive criticism very well and am always striving to do better. I provide quality customer service and am able to resolve customer complaints quickly and calmly.

I am sociable but can maintain a professional demeanor at all times and I am confident that my outgoing personality will fit perfectly with your restaurant.
