I have learned of the vacancy referred above in your organization and would like to be considered for the position of HIV/AIDS Programme Manager based at Lodwar.
I have worked with various organizations as a volunteer supporting in the implementation of youth and adolescent friendly services which include SRH, Drug abuse, Social services, and environmental protection among others. The program allowed me to draw on knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines to define, critically assess and resolve a broad spectrum of sexual and reproductive public health problems and issues faced in Kenya today.
In addition, I have also served in a similar responsibility in a busy and reputed organization as a Programme Officer with MNCH and SRH programmes as a key deliverable. I supported programmes such as Kisumu Integrated Family health project, KRCS school peer education project, and APHIAplus project, all areinterventions addressing SRH through different approaches such as Participatory Educative Theatre, Youth to Youth (Y2Y) peer education and referral for service uptake,
In my previous employment position, I chaired the county CSO advocacy teams and brought about the change in County government budgeting priority to preventive services with specific focus to Sexual and Reproductive Health service delivery amongst the youth; and coordinated emergency health interventions which included Sexual Reproductive Health in Emergencies, social protection and advocacy on child and adolescent rights.
