Dear Iselin Aslakstrøm,

I wish to apply for a part-time position at your company. I am currently a rising senior at The London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) majoring in Accounting and Finance. I am very interested in the field of investment management and would welcome the opportunity to contribute my strengths, writing skills and experiences to your growing business. I have a strong work ethic and dedication to prioritizing my work, which forms one of my primary motivations for applying to this role.

I have served a number of internships, mostly in finance related fields, roles which have required extensive data analysis and a high degree of professionalism. Such experiences include from interning in the finance department of GroupM, the world's largest media investment agency, to my most recent experience at Ernst & Young in the Advisory Services division. In these capacities, I have gained considerable experience with various operating software, the Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis. These skills would prove significantly important in any administrative tasks required for this role.

However, what I believe sets me apart from other candidates applying to this role are three underlying traits I possess that have helped me reach success time and time again. First and most importantly, I am extremely hard working. I believe that I have a strong work ethic that is demonstrated not only by my academic results but also dedication to extra-curriculars. If I set myself a target, I will not stop working until I have achieved it. Second is my ability to learn and adapt to any situation. While working at one of my internships I self-taught myself visual basic to automate an excel report that was previously being manually created on a daily basis.

Finally and to sum up, I believe that I am the right candidate quite simply because I am extremely passionate about investment management and would welcome any and all opportunities to learn more about your firm and the industry. I hope to be offered the chance to prove this to you and contribute positively to SKAGEN Funds.
