Industrial Placement
Dear Madam/Sir
Ref: 2015 Year in Industry:
I would like to apply for this industrial placement which was advertised on Gradcracker.com.I enclose my CV for your consideration. I believe that, I am an eligible candidate to work with SPX because my previous employment experiences, strong communication skills and my project management skills as an aerospace engineering student would allow me to make a valuable contribution to the organization.
I am currently studying MEng Aerospace Engineering – Year 3 at Kingston University. I ‘am also doing part time work after my university hours. Managing my part time job was initially difficult for me but it has taught me the importance of time management and how to organize things in a systematic way.
Through the entire year of my course, my constant interest of working in the laboratories, undertaking engineering activities have improved my craftsmanship. I have received 75% in my first and second year of the degree. I have worked hard and hoping to receive a 2:1 at the end of this year as well. Whilst at university, I have utilised my project management skills in doing various projects including creating a flight wing and conceptual aircraft design, all these projects have been successfully accomplished through excellent team effort and project management, for which I have received a good grade. I do also possess a strong knowledge in Microsoft excel, power point, Turbo C++, Mat-lab, Simulink, Solid works and CFD-Ansys.
I am very enthusiastic to work in your company because I am aware of the outstanding reliability of Spirax Sarco’s services that have been provided specifically in the field industrial steam systems. I like to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to be involved in finding solutions to engineering problems. I am able to work on my own initiative to overcome obstacles as I have a strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude. It would be a wonderful opportunity and great achievement for me, if I could make a contribution to a company like ‘Spirax Sarco’.
