As a first year MBA student at Michigan state university concentrating in Supply chain and Finance, I am interested in the Sears MBA Inventory internship position for the summer of 2016. Prior coming to business school, I worked for IBM for 6.5 years. In my recent role, I was leading a cross functional team of Subject Matter Experts to provide solutions on various touch points in Sales and delivery processes.
I am interested in the Inventory intern position because it would provide me the right platform and opportunity to display my skills gained in my prior job and business education. The Inventory management internship program offers us various resources to succeed in program and make new connections such as INTERPALOOZA and mentorship opportunities. I have expertise in the areas of processes improvements, Quality improvement, Order management, Supply Chain management, operations management, and logistics.
