To Whom It May Concern,

I am very excited about the opportunity to work with SDI marketing again. I had the pleasure to work as a brand ambassador for Pepsi Next at the Heritage Classic in Vancouver in 2013. Also, I worked for 2 months doing the Starbucks Refresher campaign. I truly enjoyed the fun and friendly environment that was created working at the event. I think I would make a great brand ambassador for the following reasons:

• Verbal Communication Skills: Part of my job with College Works Painting involved that I personally took part in door-to-door marketing to acquire new customers. This experience required me to interact with strangers, promote the company, and obtain their contact information. Once I had their initial interest I would contact them to set up estimates, where I would build report and gain their trust in order to make the sale. My ability to build strong relations with the potential clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills is what allowed me to gain their business.
• Exposure to Diversity: I have been fortunate enough to have lived in three different countries, travelled to numerous other countries, and attended an international boarding school. Since I have grown up in many different cultures and communities I have become very open minded and culturally aware. I was raised to always respect other cultures, ideas, and opinions. This type of cultural sensitivity sets me apart from other candidates and is an essential component when working in promotions in a city as multicultural as Vancouver. I have also worked and volunteered for many different organizations, which has allowed me to gain exposure to interacting with elders, children, youths with disabilities, and working for people in an international setting.
• Teamwork : As I have been a competitive rower for 6 years the notion of teamwork comes as second nature to me. Rowing has taught me many qualities such as: dedication, self-motivation, accountability and perseverance through sub-optimal conditions. Teamwork was an integral part to being on the rowing team, where it was essential to understand that my teammates relied and trusted me. As a result of this, I was able to create bonds with my teammates that motivated me to continue to push my limits.

The aforementioned qualities are what I considered a highlight of my strongest skills. Working as a brand ambassador seems to align seamlessly with my personality and previous experience. I have no hesitation approaching strangers in a friendly manner and telling them about a product. I am an extremely high-energy person who can communicate key messages in a fun and interactive manner for extended periods of time.
