I am currently studying computer science and finance at France, with a view to obtaining a master’s degree (Diplôme d’Ingénieur en Informatique et Finance). I have always been interested in technology, databases, information processing, finance and innovation. Furthermore, the complexity of economic and financial systems arouses my curiosity and drives me to try to understand their mechanisms.

As a student in computer science and finance,I look forward to discovering what is the role of technology in the finical world and hope to gain experience in this field. Understanding how we make good use of IT to handle daily business transactions and how it helps us to solve complex financial problems through modeling, data processing, simulation and programming are appealing to me. The internship at Société Générale is a great opportunity for me to have a general view of Société Générale, and operations of the Technology department. As a global banking leader and one of the largest diversified financial services providers in the world, Société Générale provides many opportunities for undergraduate students to experience a dynamic and global environment, which makes it one of the most attractive employers for graduates.

I would strongly like to gain more knowledge of the company and the possible careers in the technology department. With a background in both Chinese and European culture, I am fairly interested in working in such an international atmosphere, offered by the bank.
