I am writing to express interest in the Programs Associate position, as advertised as being open in your Austin location. I am currently on schedule to receive my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology at University of Texas at Austin this coming May. After graduation, I wish to pursue a career where I can advance the skill sets obtained through my experiences in both athletic and health care settings.

I am interested in working with the Special Olympics because I am confident that we can both benefit from one another. My ability to work well with others, exceptional communication skills, and positive attitude, will in my opinion, help to further develop the success of the Special Olympics Texas. Additionally, I believe that previous experience of mine has positioned me to better work with the Special Olympics. With numerous opportunities to work with students and adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as involvement in various other activities that have furthered my social and academic knowledge, I can say that I am prepared to take on any challenges associated with this position as Programs Associate.
