As a 2016 graduate in finance from Purdue University, I am very excited to apply for Credit Analyst position as shown on your careers webpage.

During summer 2012, I interned at Postal Savings Bank of China, one of the largest commercial banks in China as a credit analysis, which initially introduced me to loan management, credit analysis, and risk control. Since July 2013, I worked at ShineWing Certified Public Accountants, Beijing, as a full-time consulting analyst, where I majorly assisted with due diligence processes and comprehensive financial, strategic and operational research of possible acquisition candidates. One of target companies, for example, was an online education platform. In the case, we needed to evaluate its financial performance, forecast its future growth and find potential risks in our reports to customers. One year later, I joined another young commercial company, where I assisted in managing Account Receivable, completing regular finance performance reports and analyzing our city operating to support sales teams. Previous professional experience has helped me gain in-depth extensive knowledge in corporate finance, risk control, and investments. I also have exceptional research and analysis skills, which are very important in order to be successful in this profession. Dealing with different counterparts and supervising a team of diverse personalities in a highly stressful environment further enhance my communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving ability.

Moreover, I can bring a truly international perspective to the company, having studied in both China and United States. With an undergraduate degree from China Foreign Affairs University and a master degree in finance from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University, I offer a broad and technical viewpoint that is well suited to serve Standard Bank and Trust Co. Particularly at Purdue, I am able to get an intensive finance training and an access to advanced analysis techniques so that I could master various research methods, interpret financial reports, and perform quantitative analysis. Furthermore, completion of SAS/Purdue SAS certificate program improves my professional abilities dealing with big data.
