I am a Supply Chain professional with nearly 4 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. I have also attained a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from University of Westminster, London. I am currently working in an International exporting company from UK, which supplies electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components to continuous manufacturing industries around the world. I play an important role in Procurement and sourcing of goods from European Market. I negotiate/liaise with suppliers in Europe/USA. I use my skills effectively to engage and challenge key stakeholders. I also have an extensive role of analysing supply chain models. Our customers / end users are spread worldwide.
The previous position I held was at the global headquarters of GlaxoSmithKline, London, as a Supply Chain Analyst. My primary duties were in facets of supply chain management; covering a range of matters and not limited to analysis of stock out events. I also did On Time in Full (OTIF) analysis for North America (NA), Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) regions and CPFR/VMR base supply chain management.
Through my several endeavours, I have acquired skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point Presentations) In my previous endeavours i have worked in shipping companies, also got exposure in SAP, i have also worked in customer facing roles. All this has grounded me to take effective leadership roles in multicultural environments. My experiences included jobs that enabled me to, be decisive, ability to quickly decide in a fast paced environment, develop negotiation and stake holder management skills in demanding environments etc.
