This sounds like a fascinating opportunity and one which is a great fit with my skills and

aspirations.

Throughout my life I have demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a willingness to get

involved and make things happen. From my role as Chairman of the university Mountaineering

club through to my undergraduate internship at Petrochemicals Giant, I have worked well with

other people and delivered results. I am committed and tenacious, not only in the sporting arena

where I have regularly represented both my university first team and my county at tennis, but also

in my academic work where I have consistently performed in the top quarter of my course. My

university course has been instrumental in enabling me to develop both technical skills around

Chemical Engineering and also key life skills such as initiative, collaboration and the ability to

communicate effectively with a wide range of people; skills which I feel would be invaluable on the

Corporate Graduate Scheme.

The Energy sector is facing a period of unprecedented change and the decisions made now will

affect the country for decades to come. I want to be part of an organisation that can make such a

huge difference to the future of millions of people. I feel that the combination of my engineering

expertise and people skills could be really valuable within the Corporate environment as I

understand both the technical challenges of the energy sector and the business impact of these.

This will enable me to consider technical opportunities from a commercial perspective, and also to

creatively problem solve business problems with technical solutions. I hope to go on to achieve

the full Chartered Engineer status, which I know is something that SuperEnergy Company values,

and through this process will continue to learn and develop my skill set, applying this new

knowledge within the business. I am proactively looking for an opportunity to help solve some of

the greatest challenges our generation faces, and I feel that SuperEnergy Company is a place I

could do this.
