Sample cover letter for Full Time position at TD Bank

POSITION:

Teller

Dear Reputable Human Resources Manager,

I present my resume to you for the Teller Position at TD Bank. TD Bank exceeds its traditional role as a financial institution by actively bettering the community through Employee Volunteerism and grants such as Housing for Everyone. With this philosophy in mind, I am excited to be a part of this team and commit to the goals of TD Bank.

I am currently a junior at Some University majoring in Finance & Economics with a career interest in the banking sector. This position requires someone with a strong disposition for accuracy and the ability to perform under pressure. I had the opportunity to develop these skills during my internship at Capital One. I garnered proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access & Lotus 123. In addition to these skills, I also became extremely comfortable in a professional setting, a quality, I am sure, will serve me well in the position as a bank teller. I also work part-time at Target as a cashier. Along with providing customers a speedy checkout and a consistently even cash drawer, I also maintained professionalism in situations where the customers felt upset. With this in mind, I strongly believe that my multitasking abilities and attention to detail will be able to produce quantifiable results in your workplace.

Given my education, skills and a strong desire to be a part of an esteemed and renowned national bank such as yours, I am sure that I will be able to perform the job well if given a chance. I am extremely excited about the idea of becoming a part of your team and am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to present my case in further detail in a personal interview.

I thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
