Sample cover letter for Full Time position at TEAMS Design

Dear Recruiter,

It is with genuine excitement that I am writing to you in regards to the open Junior Industrial Design position I saw available on the IDSA website. Through a small amount of research into TEAMS Design, I quickly realized that a truly inspiring previous speaker from my school, John Doe, just happened to be president of the company.

As a recent Industrial Design graduate from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI, I would be thrilled to work for TEAMS Design in Chicago. I’m hoping that my newly honed design skills from both my school and current internship will be of great use to the company, as I enjoy all aspects of the design process. Beyond the specs of my attached resume, I feel that my attention to detail, sincere desire to problem solve, and interest in sustainability are all attributes that can be utilized within the TEAMS Design – design team. In addition, I am eager to learn new ways of creating designs, and the story behind it, and I feel that TEAMS Design can be my platform to do that.
