I’dliketoapply for Tax intern at TAX 411. I am Junior majoring in Economics and minoring in Accounting. I learned about this position through Accounting Listserve. I am truly interested in a career in tax and have qualifications such as strong communication, organizational skill and basic computing experiences that you’reseeking.

My experience thus far has afforded me the opportunity to pursue an internship with TAX 411. I’vehadthegreatfortuneofutilizingeffectivecommunicationskillsthroughmy leadership as the event director and past job as economics tutor. Serving as the event director allows me to improve my communication skills with my peers and learn how to lead my team effectively. Working as the economics tutor, I have interacted with a variety of students, co-worker and supervisors.

Additionally, I have proven my organizational skills and orient detail manner through my leadership experiences as the event director. I oversaw many tasks such as planning, budgeting and coordinating and successfully executed various social and cultural events for my club members. My experience working on Excel and Word allows me to work well in this position. I had experience on working spreadsheet for budget reports to board members and attended to several workshops on Excel held by Business student organization.

I am trying my best to involve in various activities related to Accounting and Tax. I been selected to become a mentee of mentorship program of Beta Alpha Psi and volunteered for VITA where I can learn more about tax service lines and expand my network. I believe my enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will allow me to improve and make significant contribution to TAX 411.
