Dear Bill, Justin, Ursula, and Michelle,

I’m applying for the Venetian Summer Internship position – Req. Id 22601. As a Management Information Systems major minoring in Spanish with a well of problem solving, innovative thinking and proven customer service skills, I would be an asset to The Venetian team. I am committed to bringing customers the highest level of service possible and to assist in identifying and creating opportunities for The Venetian growth across the United States.

Speaking to The Venetian Senior Officer Bill McArthur and researching the organization made me realize that I could see myself with your team. I value respect, responsibility, reliability, being resourceful and above all - persistence. From a very young age I learned the true nature of hard work. My father is a carpenter and my mother is a janitor. I look at my parents’ hands and see the harsh nature of their work. Those are the hands that have provided me with opportunities to reach my goals. Through their example, I’ve applied those hardworking abilities in every aspect of my life. From breaking track running records and holding part time jobs to accomplishing admission into Eller College of Management, I exude a spirit of perseverance. I chose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems to transform my hardworking discipline into strong and calculated business and customer service abilities.

I’m an ideal candidate for this position because I bring a set of customer service skills and Management Information Systems knowledge. My five years of customer service in hospitality and parking services will only help me in this position. I’ve helped organizations increase their customer satisfaction and have excelled at creating solutions based on the customer being a priority. Currently, I’m working on projects that help me use my investigative and analytical skills. I’m assessing and working on diagnostics for the University of Arizona Health Plan using their software systems. Additionally, I’m using leadership skills to work with a team to improve the demeanor of an Automated Virtual Agent for Truth Assessment in Real-Time (AVATAR). I will conduct primary and secondary research, create disruptive solutions and present detailed deliverables on these projects. I like the challenge and the reward that comes with working on projects such as these. These scholastic experiences motivate me to pursue more business, technology and customer service knowledge at an organization like The Venetian.

Please let me know if I could provide you with any additional information relevant to my qualifications for this position. I thank you immensely for your time and consideration.

Sincerely
