  I am writing to apply for the internal audit intern with the Vitamin Shoppe. I am a master’s of accounting student from School Name, seeking the opportunity to implement my knowledge and skills.
  I am very interested in this position because it allows me to contribute the knowledge I gained from the past internships and gain new insights in the finance area. I have built strong skills in both internal and external audit. I started off as an external audit intern with Company A. I audited Company Name with a team of five people. From this project I developed strong communication skills. The instantly feelings of reward while receiving the right documents made me decide that I want to purse auditing as a future career.
  My second internship with Company B as an operational audit intern allowed me to gain full exposure of US GAAP, GAAS and internal control framework. I also did some consulting related work by assisting managers to build internal control deficiency tracker and write audit reports.
  My additional abilities and experiences are listed in the enclosed resume.
