I believe that my strong academic background and extracurriculum experiences position me as a strong entry level candidate for a leading financial services company. To that end, I would like to express my interest in the part-time attachment in FXMM Department at UBS and have enclosed my resume and background information for your review.
Growing up in a business family, I listen to my parents talking about FX/MM trading every day. Therefore, I have a strong interest of FX trading. I often watch financial talk shows and read relative books. In addition, I joined the Securities Research Club in my freshman year, and now become an Event Organizer at SRC. Holding events for SRC, I promote our club and introduce the attraction of FX and MM. As a core member at SRC, I sometimes have to write some book reports and do investing researches. Moreover, I am taking a monetary bankng course this semester. I think I would gain more and more knowledge of FX during the intern.
As for team works, I believe myself have strong communication & interpersonal skills. I have roled as a Captain of _ cheerleading squad supervising 80 dancers. In the meanwhile, I have to negotiate with every member, firgure out the best practice time and best performing positions, encouraging them to be involoved the ten-minute performance throughout whole semester. Owing to my excellent cordination skills, the attendance rate was high and practices were efficient. Every member devoted themselves, and the performance turned out to be the best forever. We were highly praised.
I believe I am a strong candidate for part-time attachment in FXMM Department because of my relevant extracurriculum experience and my high detail orientation. I am also good team playerr, as can be seen in my negotiation skills as the _ cheerleading squad. Though I might be younger than other competitive appicants, I do have a storng enthusiasm in FX and MM trading, and enjoy to learn new things, and challange myslef.
