Dear Sir / Madam,
I have recently come across the position you offer on your website “2016 Intern Program, Market and Risk Reporting” and wish to express my strong interest. I have always believed that building strong relationships is one of the key building blocks to success. My multicultural background along with the international education I have received have helped me understand how to interact and connect with people from various origins. Growing up in Geneva and attending the International School has given me a global view along with connections that span across the globe. This is why I am interested in pursuing a position in Market and Risk Reporting at UBS.
I graduated studying International Economics, Management and Finance majoring in Management. My Bachelor’s course at the Bocconi University of Milan has sparked my interest and curiosity in a variety of sectors such as corporate finance and financial markets. I am currently searching for a career start opportunity that will enable me to relate what I have learned during my three years at university. I believe that my enthusiasm and motivation along with the knowledge I have gathered will enable me to thrive in this position. Moreover, my language skills in English, French Farsi and Italian may help me understand the needs of clients from various horizons.
My experience as a trainee at CIC, a commodity trading company based in Geneva has given me a glimpse of the professional world and its expectations from the younger generation. I have learned that rigour and motivation are key in succeeding in a professional environment. This internship enabled me to apply some of the skills I learned while at university such as the Business strategy course I have attended.
As one of the world’s leading financial institutions and its dedication for training young graduates, I would be very keen to be part of the UBS trainee program as I believe that my rigour along with my determination to learn and perform will help me succeed in this position.
