I was quickly drawn to your posting for the possition and believed that my skills passion and experience make me a perfect fit for the possition.I am intrigued by the wide breadth of job description topics with your organization I have been searching for an opportunity to participate in a job with these objectives with either a think tank or more action-oriented peace and your organisation seems to offer me just the best that I have been hoping for. I have a range of skills that perfectly matched the qualifications you are seeking.
I graduated from Linkoping university Sweden with a masters degree in Political sciences. My time with the Ministry of regional development, Lund municipality and malmo municipality in sweden has provided me with adequate job experience that preferably match the job discription.
These jobs has given me knowledge and leadership skills that is neede to thrive in this role. So far in my career the most achievments I am most proud of are my key strengths and the ability to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals. My knowledge of civil society initiatives creation and implementation are tio say the least quite solid for this possition.
Additionally, my exceptional communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills have played a key role in providing exceptional levels of support to organizations that I have volunteered with. I am a dedicated Worker with a superior work ethic and charitable service record. Strong empathy for a wide variety of peace and conflict intervention across a variety of difficult domestic and international situatition.
I have also had seperiences in engaging with other agencies, donors, and other development stakeholders and forge productive working relationships to the organisations that I have worked with . I ahve the ability to efficiently handle and share information and knowledge, organize programmes and projects to implement solutions and generate resources
My keen interest in the above area were a motivation for me to volunteered as a human rights consultant for the Caretakers Initiative on the Day of the African Child on 15 June 2009, where I helped organize human rights training for over 200 children and assisted the newly arrived refugees from Congo. Some of my duties included but not limited to, assisted in maintaining safe and welcoming refugee camp environment, Educated refugees on a variety of housing benefits, Provided referrals to refugees for legal advice as necessary, Assisted women in exploring alternative housing options as applicable, Explained procedures and policies to new camp arrivals.
I also volunteered with NGO and Agencies. For instance, my working experience with Save the Children and UNICEF in Chad allowed me to better understand the role and impact of volunteering, especially in emergency situations. I contributed to help communities understand that they should get together to fight poverty and social issues before waiting for NGO or money to come.
My verbal communication skills and positive attitude makes me an effective communicator with my project team. . I possess good organizational and leadership potentials skills. I respect deadlines and I am result-oriented at anything. I work hard to help the organization meet its objectives and to also meet my major objective of career growth as a person.
I have excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. I know that the combination of my experience, education, and motivation to excel will make me an asset to your organization.
