Sample cover letter for Internship position at Uni Credit
Analyst
I am writing to enquire about the possibility of a three to five month internship from October 2014 to February 2015 in the field of Corporate Finance, Corporate Finance Advisory, Risk Management or similar departments. As I will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in September 2014, I am looking for an opportunity to broaden my horizons by serving an internship in Asia before beginning a Master's degree programme in March 2015.
As a student of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim (DHBW), which is a unique type of German university that combines academic studies with practical experience in a dual study programme, I am currently employed with UniCredit Bank in Mannheim. Here I have been able to acquire a great deal of experience dealing with both private and corporate clients in several different departments.
My specialisation in the Credit and Risk Management department has given me a detailed understanding of financial markets and corporate financing. My previous experience has prepared me well to work in a new environment abroad and with an internship in the above-named departments I hope to broaden my knowledge in all facets of these areas.
As you can see from my attached CV, I am fluent in written and spoken English and I have been able to gain practical experience abroad during several internships in English speaking environments. As a native German speaker, I am in position to improve the cooperation with UniCredit Germany, which is one of the largest core markets.
I am a highly motivated student with excellent communication, customer service and analyti-cal skills and I am confident that an internship in Hong Kong will result in a decisive ad-vancement for my career prospects and my personal development.
Should you require any additional information, I would be happy to discuss my application in greater depth in a personal interview. I appreciate your interest and look forward to hearing from you soon.
