I am submitting my application to you to be considered for a position as a marketing manager when one comes available. Included is my resume listing some of my major experiences and accomplishments while working at Creative Designs.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minor in Economics from XYZ State University where I graduated in 2009 and went straight to work at Creative. I have strong computer and technology skills; therefore one of my main duties has been preparing and producing weekly educational webinars for clients on a wide range of relevant topics. I have heard that you are interested in the idea of producing regular webinars at ABC Marketing Concepts and I would be able to make a valuable contribution in that area.
In addition, I have a great deal of experience initiating market research studies and analyzing their findings. My education in economics has helped me take a major role in developing pricing strategies, coordinating budgets with marketing campaigns including projections of return on investment and profit and loss, incorporating sales forecasting into the strategic plan and monitoring market trends.
I have had excellent training from my current manager, Leslie Sellers. She understands my desire to move into the area of management and has been generous enough to write a reference letter for me which is attached along with my resume. I believe I have a lot of innovative ideas to offer as the leader of a marketing team as well as boundless energy and enthusiasm for the products.
