It was a great pleasure for me to find out that Uniqa Insurance is a partner company of the XXX program, since I am really interested in finance with a special focus on the sector of insurance services. An opportunity to do my internship at Uniqa Company is a perfect midpoint where my financial skills will be provided by involvement in a fast-growing and innovating world of insurance.

After successfully passing course on insurance and participating in the modeled insurance group at my home university, I understood that this is the field that brings many interesting challenges and where I can implement all the analytical and professional skills I gained during my studies and work.

Furthermore, when doing my internship in this company I will be able to make use of my risk management skills that I acquired by founding and managing a student consultancy group helping small and medium sized enterprises in Ukraine to build and maintain profitable and sustainable businesses. This job required a lot of financial calculations and modelling, in fact, after more than one year of managing this consultancy group, MS Excel became my third mother tongue.

During my internship in AAA and work in the VVV Bank I was fully involved in the process of financial statement analysis, developing recommendations for increasing bank`s proficiency as well as running research of banking sector. As a result, I could demonstrate my theoretical knowledge in finance on practice.

I am really keen on planning, analyzing, presenting complicated topics and these I can demonstrate as an active member of the CCC. As a delegate from CCC on different international sessions I participated in hot decisions within multinational teams and thus I successfully enriched my communication skills and grew into a real team-player.
