I am writing in response to the internship information posted on your organization’s webpage. Currently, I am a candidate at the Tokyo Institute of Technology for a PhD. degree in Information Processing. Within this program I am focusing my studies on proposing sustainable solution to solve is inefficiencies and security problems in sharing electronic health records between health care practitioners with much focus on the aging population and home based care for chronic disease patients.

As such, I am very interested in the UNDP environmental and development work being conducted in developing countries in Asia.

I believe that my experiences and continuing education make me an excellent candidate for a summer internship with your office.

I have gained practical experience in project management, cross-cultural teamwork, and creative problem solving though diverse work experiences including an internet start-up, and an environmental program in Indonesia.

In addition, through the program for leading graduate school under MEXT, Academy for Global leadership curriculum, I have acquired additional skills such as analysis, business model generation and research design.

I know these skills will make me a valuable asset to UNU campus computing center as an intern, providing the opportunity to gain further experience in development work.
