It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for the Software Developer position which is vacant in your Department. I am currently enrolled in Masters in Management Information Systems. My strong managerial, entrepreneurial experience and sound education enable me to say with confidence that I will be a good fit for the role. Not to blow my own trumpet but I have played many roles in the past; an engineer, a good team player, an entrepreneur, a technology whiz, an organizer, a photographer and preceptor.
My path to Information Technology began as a freelance Web Analyst where I created and managed advertising campaigns, developed professional websites and even conducted workshops on Ethical Hacking & Information Security for college students. I eventually took on the role of a Software Engineering where I was responsible for requirement analysis, system design & documentation, incident management and enhancement & maintenance of .Net applications. I have been appraised for my excellence in developing .Net based tools which have saved a significant amount of man hours. With consistent learning through my work I have excelled in .Net and as a result, I am currently certified by Microsoft as a Technology Specialist in.NET Framework 4, Web Applications and a Solutions Associate in SQL Server 2008. I Attained a solid reputation as a competent team member who is always prepared to go the extra mile to achieve results.
With proven track record of effectively prioritizing multiple tasks and assignments in a fast-paced work environment to efficiently meet proposal deadlines, I am eager to bring my experience to support the systems and technology group at the Health Informatics Institute and provide enriching output. As a graduate in the Management information systems, I will aspire to invoke a strong passion, a continuing commitment to the department of Pediatrics, and an aspiration to grow professionally and personally in the realm of Student Affairs.
