On a personal level private equity interests me above all others because it’s a blend of both, operations and finance. In the long-term I see myself as an investor and want to learn all aspects of the process and how to evaluate whether a company can deliver solid returns. I consider myself to be a proven individual who is ready to take on the exciting and important role that you are looking to fill.
I have always been extremely interested in private equity industry and working for one of the leading mid-market private equity investment company would be a dream come true to me. As an analyst in a small-sized investment bank I was really able to influence our operations and thereby had an amazingly steep learning curve in all aspects of investment banking and corporate finance. I gained a lot of experience of private equity through a case, where our goal was to find acquisition target that could create synergies with our client’s current business. My responsibilities consisted of analyzing targeted industry, screening and valuing potential targets and producing decision-making materials. Through this project I learned how to use financial models effectively and developed a clear business judgement. I also gained essential knowledge in all phases of M&A and evolved my analytical skills to meet the toughest demand.
