Sample cover letter for Internship position at Viz Solutions

I am excited about the opportunity to work at Viz Solutions. Upon seeing your online post for an experienced 3D artist I went straight to my email to send off my resume for your review. I have been in the business for four years and of course am familiar with the innovative and impressive work Viz has done starting with that stunning cover for the inaugural issue of Penny Fame. Since I have kept a close eye on the work produced by Viz and the incredible artists that have walked through your doors.

My resume will attest to a sharp eye for creativity. I am especially proud of the illustrations I did for Winston Clarke’s young adult novel Free & Simplified. For it I used my broad range of skill as a 2D and 3D artist in layouts modeling imaging software digital drawing and painting as well as traditional penciling. This project led to a series of projects that includes book covers and online illustrations.

Despite these successes I know an organization like Viz can take my skill and training to amazing new levels. I would love to come in show you my portfolio and talk more about the 3D Artist position.
