Sample cover letter for Internship position at WB International

Due to the high commitment to my desire to learn about financial system I am applying to WB International. The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab work towards poverty alleviation through a critical and analytical approach is aligned to my personal and professional aspirations and goals.

During my bachelor’s degree I had the opportunity to spend one semester abroad in France. Sharing this experience with people from all over the world, in a country with social conscience and ethics, made me realize that the situation of my country was not acceptable. This multicultural experience changed my conception of how a country should be like and what I should expect from it. But, above all, it changed my conception of how I could contribute to my county. I realized that no matter how capable or willing to succeed people are, coming from a vulnerable background will compromise their future development. That is why I feel the responsibility to work hard to give everybody the same opportunities that I had.
