I believe resilience and passion are key aspects to achieve success. By using both of those qualities, I have achieved 74.5% grade average during my first year and in recognition of this, I received the Academic Excellence Award. This course has taught me proficient knowledge in Microsoft Software (Inc. Excel, Word) and a deeper understanding in finance. As well as being academically strong, I have gained core skills through extracurricular activities, demonstrating teamwork, communication, organizational and prioritization skills. For example, I was a part of the Business and Enterprise Squad to prospective students for 3 years that focused on organizing, presenting and hosting events or workshops throughout primary schools.

I have always had an interest in finance and helping people. My curiosity stems from how everyone experiences different aspects of finance –whether managing Student Finance to creating a strategy in a business with the aim of achieving greater growth. Maths and Economics are subjects I held real interest in. I enjoy working with figures, analyzing concepts and using skills I’ve learnt to apply to real-world problems. Also, I enjoy working with others and find it rewarding to help businesses thrive and in turn, help people and communities thrive. This career route allows me to combine both interests that have evolved into passions and without a doubt, work doing what I enjoy.

I am eager to be working for a company that values commitment and integrity as well as being dedicated to practice Corporate Social Responsibility. The genuine enthusiasm for both the environment and philanthropic duties is what any company should aspire to. Star Wars: Force For Change, in specific, is inspiring. To have combined a historic film franchise with philanthropy and successfully helped more the 1.5 million children is truly amazing. Walt Disney’s genuine enthusiasm and commitment to uphold timeless values as well as its drive to make the world a better place strengthens my belief in Corporate Social Responsibility. It would be a great experience to work with a company that truly goes beyond products and profits.
