Why do you want to become an ambassador for WES 2017?
I have been aware of the Warwick Economics Summit since I was in lower sixth due to the high profile speakers that attend every year, ranging from Nobel Laureates to bankers to company executives. I was happy to find out that this year I can be involved with the 2017 event despite not being enrolled at Warwick University through the Ambassador Program and I am very keen to assist in any way I can.
What would your marketing strategy be as an ambassador?
The best approach for any event such as this one is to spread the word through various social media platforms. As an active Facebook and Instagram user, I propose to share the WES event to my following with the hope of attracting some keen economists to participate. As an LSE student, I am confident that my network will be full of potential delegates. I also run a small Facebook blog focused on economics and current affairs and I would be more than happy to use this to increase WES exposure.
