Sample cover letter for Internship position at Work Study

POSITION:

Receptionist

Thank you for extending the invitation to work as an Honors College Student Assistant. I am confident of my skills and know that I would do well in your department. I am organized, hardworking, and I learn quickly. I maintain a strong work ethic and always aim to go above and beyond expectations. I have good time management skills and am able to complete multiple tasks in a pressured environment.

My previous job experiences have provided me with skills in various fields, which I continually build on a daily basis. During my time with a real estate agent, I helped created and post listings on multiple websites, despite never having had experience with it. I also had the opportunity to become comfortable with building and maintaining relationships, as well as developing negotiation skills. During my time with the different school organizations, I strengthened my team-building and leadership, and communication skills. I work just as well individually or in a team/group setting.

I am positive this opportunity will help me to continue developing important life skills and myself as an individual. I look forward to hearing from you.
