I am writing with interest in regards to the Data Entry position currently available with Yellowpages in Burnaby, BC.

I am currently an economics student at ___ University in ___, also pursuing a minor in biology and will be entering my third year this coming September. I am extremely motivated, ambitious, and love adapting to new environments and solving/analyzing complex problems in multiple academic and applied fields. I have been working in customer service for nearly 5 years and am looking to use, and continue to develop, my analytical and problem solving skills acquired during my time at university.

Other skills I possess include:

  • Cashier experience, including maintaining a balanced float and opening/closing of tills
  • A solid base in Microsoft Office programs, as well as computer programming experience with Python and Stata
  • Words per minute: 70

I am an innovative, motivated individual who enjoys variety and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. I work well under pressure, have an optimistic attitude, and enjoy working with a variety of people working towards team and individual goals. I believe that these skills, combined with my past customer service experience, would make me a positive addition to your team at Yellowpages this summer.

Thank you for your time and for your consideration.
